Now that school started, I don't have time for baking, really. Even if I did, my new house is quite old and operates on a gas stove and oven, and about a week ago we had a leak and the gas had to be turned off. Still no hot water or oven available. I love my new neighborhood though. Today we went to two garage sales and I wanted this old map from one of them but didn't have the $1 it cost. The woman said I could come pay her later and I offered to bring a pie with my $1. I can't wait to see the inside of the house, I bet it's covered wall to wall with neat things.
I'm getting pretty excited. The new Jenny Lewis album comes out in ten days, and I've already preordered (obviously), and I'll be seeing her at Stubb's with Conor and M. Ward the 28. My mind will be blown, I'm sure. The album is already available on her MySpace. I might not love it as much as Rabbit Fur Coat. I'll post a full review soon, as I am writing one for the illustrious Hilltop Views.
Here is a tune that popped into my head while observing all the hurricane, which has sadly already claimed four lives, coverage.
